Vandal Protection Rating (IK Code)

- Most Q-See and Perisale cameras are “Vandal Resistant” with recessed allen key screws and metal housing with IP66 rating for ingress protection. For high impact resistance though specialist IK rated cameras are required.
- The IK code is an international standard which standardizes and defines the level of resistance of enclosures provided for electronic equipment against mechanical impacts.
- The ratings are as follows:
